Happy new lunar year!
If you are Chinese then this weekend marks the start of the Year of the Rabbit.
And if you are Vietnamese then this is the Year of the Cat. So, I thought I would just send this out to wish you all the best in the coming 12 months.
“Arise from sleep, old cat,
And with great yawns and stretchings...
Amble out for love”
- Issa Kobayashi, translation by Peter Beilenson.
Thanks Meredith for sharing . Yes there are times when being Chinese is a positive . I spent yesterday learning to make northern style chinese dumplings from an old family friend passing cooking skills down to my sister and myself . We realised it’s an important ritual making , cooking and eating like this . My father was Confucian in his thinking so there are many things I’m starting to realise come through culturally in my thinking that’s part oF my DNA . Thanks for sharing Gary for additional shares. Those qualities definitely align where I am at personally at so I am starting off the year with great excitement and clarity personally and in business Goong Hei Fat Choy ! Happy new year in Cantonese .
