Dear reader,
I have a digital bouquet to give in gratitude and my choice of flower was inspired by a new word I recently learnt.

Word of the month
Galanthophile: An avid lover and / or collector of snowdrops.
The etymology of Galanthus (snowdrop) is from the Ancient Greek for ‘milk’ + ‘flower’. Snowdrops are thought to symbolize hope, consolation, and rebirth.
As an Aussie, I am familiar with snowdrops mainly from photographs. But they’re a pretty flower and, for some reason I can’t quite figure out, I am tickled to death at the thought of there being a sizeable enough community of people out there who love this flower SO MUCH that they deserve their own title of galanthophile.
Are you a Galanthophile? Let me know why in the comments.
“Admire as much as you can. Most people do not admire enough.” – Vincent Van Gogh
Here is my digital bouquet:
There are two groups of people I want to thank.
The first is all of the folks who recently followed or subscribed. I now have over 1000 subscribers; something I thought I would never see. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the things I share with you.
The second group of people I want to thank is to those of you who answered my call out for support a few weeks ago, whether that was by buying one of my booklets, donating, or even just sharing my Substack. I am very very grateful.
If you still want to support me then every little bit helps. You can buy me a coffee or peruse my online shop here.
To all of you
Whether you have been here with me from the beginning – sometime during the Covid lockdowns - or recently started subscribing, I do so appreciate you reading these posts.
The thought of people wandering through the woods seeking out snowdrops makes me extremely happy.
beautiful work
